So, you aren’t fully dedicated to yourself,  your goals or dreams? That is basically what motivation is, Motivation is the drive and will to be and get things done. Motivation is what drives results. High motivation produces great content, Unmotivated produces nothing or less quality. Motivation is the difference between success and unsuccessful people. To acquire success here are ways to stay motivated while you are transitioning into your own greatness!

1. Be grateful for what you have.

We idolize what we want, more than giving recognition to the things we have. Accept your current position and recognize the jewels in your present. Be grateful! Someone wants what you have, whether it’s your:

  • Support
  • Health
  • Love ones
  • Accomplishments
  • Opportunities

Many times, I focus on other people gifts because it’s easier to idolize your wants. What  I learned ” The more you focus on what others have, the more you miss out on what YOU can have”. Be grateful everything you have to keep you motivated and moving towards your wants.

2. Work hard for what you want!

Alright, This right here is the number 1 reason you are unmotivated! Don’t down yourself for your mistakes, lessons, missed opportunities, could of would of moments!

Throw away that pessimistic mindset, it’s clouding your thoughts and affect your actions!

Believe me, Law of Attraction is real!

Attract  problems, get problems, Attract solutions, get answers!

Write your goals and take action. Write your GPS “Goal Principle System” – Create your map to get you from your location to your goal. motivational quoteUse what you have, to get you to what you want. Map your goal in plain sight.

  • Dream Car saved as your phone wallpaper.
  • Ideal weight goal taped to your scale.

It’s ok to wear the crown before you become royalty! This means it’s ok to speak your ideal career into existence.

I declared myself self- employed even before I actually owned my business. It’s the law of attraction that will motivate you or demotivate you!

3.Find a mentor or an accountability partner.

Now that you value what you have and are working hard for what you want, how do stay motivated when things are easier said than done?

Anytime I feel unmotivated, I turn to Youtube. Inspiration and motivation is everywhere around you. It’s all about how you use it! Youtube has been my go-to inspiration for personal and professional development. I subscribe to any youtube channels that enlighten me and I enjoy the subscription notifications because I know the quality content from these channels will do what I need it to do, motivate me!

A personal mentor should be someone or something relative to your journey. It’s important to know you are NOT alone in your situation and to have an example of someone else’s breakthrough! Seriously! Individuals are motivated and inspired by other people’s story, it brings hope.

You never know who’s watching you.. Your story is important too; so keep “writing”!

When I started Diva Hustle, I received so much recognition from others about how I motivated and inspired them. I didn’t recognized my gifts until I kept creating content and being myself, and I learned people were inspired from the content I created.

I was inspired and motivated from the value I gave to others.

Non-other than Les Brown, my Professional Mentor. A motivational speaker but he is a storyteller. He evokes fear from you and instills courage just through his speeches, stories, and YouTube videos! Check out my favorite video and you will realize, why he is my mentor.

Find a mentor you know or someone you don’t! My personal mentor, Lisa Nichols releases life empowering snippets faithful, her stories and optimistic point of view will be your dose of motivation when you need it! Join networking empowerment groups, listen to podcasts, seek someone in your niche.

There is so much to learn from others and you might also learn from yourself!

4. Change your perspective.

A “can do” attitude can change your approach and shift your results! Optimistic thoughts open your mind to think with a mind of solutions. A pessimistic mind is a mind filled with problems and excuses.

Don’t stand in the way of your own work and your talent. You have so much more ability than you know. Be limitless and release the thoughts of captivity that hold you back.

Change your perspective.

Instead of saying “if”… say “when”.

Instead of saying “I can’t”…  say “I can do anything with the right tools and resources”.

Challenge yourself not to say “No” …  but to say “Yes”

This is the big one! You have to start where you’re at. When learning how to walk, a baby doesn’t stop learning to walk after they fall. It is our natural instinct to get up and try again, not give up. So, don’t limit yourself when an opportunity presences it’self. I really believe things come to you that which you attract. You are always on your correct path! Your path will lead you, your job is to take that walk! Do you agree? Do everything happen for a reason or do random opportunities present itself without reason?

5. Celebrate yourself & your work.

Passion QuoteBe excited! Keep your momentum and remember your why. Why you started? Remember your passion is your why!

This is important to me…..

Be so excited about your journey that people gravitate to you and want to work with you! Your excitement should be a ball of fury, contagious! People should see you focus and energy from miles away…this goes for your work too. Be proud!

Humble yourself with high praises. Be your own cheerleader. Literally, accept your journey, enjoy it, own it! You only get one journey make the trip worth it!
